Scope and company
TAO INTELLIGENCE LIMITED (“TAO,” “we,” “us”) controls the processing described here for applications, websites, and related services that link to this policy. App stores and independent providers may separately control information under their notices.
Local product workspaces
Relevant products may work locally with documents, images, PDF results, authenticator secrets and codes, or device-storage cleanup candidates. Files that can be processed on the device remain there unless you choose an export, sharing destination, or feature that expressly requires remote recognition.
User-initiated recognition uploads
When you choose image recognition, the selected photo is uploaded to a service endpoint. The server calls an API to analyze the image and return a requested plant, object, or related recognition result. Do not upload an image unless you have the right to use it.
OpenRouter for AI recognition
If the requested recognition uses AI, the server may send the image or necessary representation and request instructions to OpenRouter and the model provider routed through it. They process the request to generate the result and may handle limited technical information under their own terms.
Two-week remote-media limit
Photos uploaded for recognition and their corresponding generated results are deleted no later than two weeks after the last related processing activity. This limit does not apply to local files, support messages, transaction records, security records, or information independently controlled by another provider.
Permissions
Camera, photo-library, file, storage, or notification access may be requested only when a related function needs it. You can deny or revoke permission through device settings. Authenticator material is sensitive; do not send secrets or live codes to support.
Technical, support, and transaction information
Online functions may process IP address, device and operating-system type, app version, language, event time, crash and security signals. Support communications include your email, message, attachments, and troubleshooting details. App stores process downloads, purchases, trials, subscriptions, and refunds.
Named service providers
Relevant Apps may involve Firebase, Google Analytics, Google Ads, reCAPTCHA, SupportBox, and OLYMPIC s.r.o. Depending on configuration, they may support infrastructure, analytics, advertising, abuse prevention, or customer service. OpenRouter applies to AI recognition. Exact access varies by App, platform, consent, and feature.
Purposes, analytics, and advertising
Information is used to deliver requested functions, obtain recognition results, support users, maintain security and compatibility, analyze performance, prevent abuse, administer purchases, and show or measure advertising where offered. Processing relies on contract, consent, legitimate interests, or law as applicable.
Disclosure and chosen destinations
Information may be disclosed to the providers above, app stores, operational vendors, advisers, authorities where legally required, and a corporate successor. A destination you select for a PDF, image, backup, or result receives that copy and applies its own rules.
Retention by category
Local materials remain until you delete them or clear product/device storage. Remote recognition media follows the two-week limit. Support, analytics, security, and transaction records are retained only as needed for their purpose, legal duties, or disputes. Independent providers use their own schedules.
Controls, rights, security, and transfers
You can manage permissions, local data, tracking choices, and exports. Depending on law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or consent withdrawal for company-held information. We may verify requests. Providers may process data outside your region using required safeguards.
